In a display of T20 mastery, India demolished New Zealand by chasing 154 in a mere 10 overs in the decisive third T20I in Guwahati. Captain Suryakumar Yadav hailed the explosive batting as the blueprint for Team India’s future, underscoring a shift towards unrelenting aggression.

Barsapara Stadium witnessed history as Indian batsmen tore apart the Kiwi attack. Reflecting on the chase, SKY stated, ‘This is the cricket we want to play, batting first or second. We know how to handle tough situations like 3 for 20 or 4 for 40. Pushing boundaries like this is how we evolve.’ He credited the top three for simplifying his leadership role.

Leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi shone with figures of 2/18, proving his mettle in crunch moments. ‘His strategies are spot on; he owns his craft perfectly. He’s a pressure performer, invaluable to the side,’ SKY gushed.

Kiwi skipper Mitchell Santner lauded the hosts’ bowling prowess after his team’s 153/9. ‘India’s attack deserves all credit—they turned the game. Powerplay wickets hurt bad, making even 150 a tall order on that surface.’ He pointed to seam movement early on, despite the flat track and short boundaries suggesting a 180-plus total.

From the outset, India squeezed New Zealand, preventing any momentum. This victory not only clinched the series but affirmed India’s status as T20 powerhouse, ready to dominate with bold tactics.
