Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held high-level discussions with Arab foreign ministers attending the second India-Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New Delhi. At Bharat Mandapam, the talks centered on strengthening the profound historical relationships and expanding multifaceted cooperation between India and Arab countries.

The delegation included LAS Secretary General and key representatives, all gathered for this landmark event after a 10-year hiatus. PM Modi reiterated India’s dedication to ramping up joint ventures in trade, investments, energy security, technological innovation, healthcare, and beyond.

A key highlight was Modi’s renewed endorsement of India’s consistent support for Palestinians, coupled with appreciation for peace endeavors like the Gaza plan. He commended the Arab League’s instrumental contributions to Middle East stability.

Emphasizing people-centric ties, the Prime Minister shared his vision for the future of India-Arab relations, committing to intensified collaboration across essential domains. With India and UAE co-chairing, the forum unites all 22 Arab League members’ top diplomats.

Rooted in a 2002 MoU, this platform guides strategic partnerships. The Ministry of External Affairs noted that the revived IAFMM will significantly advance ongoing cooperation, building on the 2016 Bahrain precedent to unlock new opportunities for mutual advancement and regional harmony.
