Delhi’s law enforcers struck gold again with the Crime Branch’s Anti-Human Trafficking Unit pulling off a double rescue mission. Two underage boys, snatched from their routines in Mukherjee Nagar and Wazirabad, are back with their loved ones thanks to relentless police work.

Spotlight first on the Mukherjee Nagar incident: A 12-year-old with mental health challenges disappeared in early September 2025. The FIR kicked off a high-stakes probe transferred straight to AHTU specialists. Inspector Mukesh Kumar’s squad, backed by ASI Ajay Kumar Jha and overseen by ACP Suresh Kumar, dove deep into evidence. CCTV reels were dissected frame by frame, streets canvassed for witnesses, digital trails pursued, social platforms flooded with alerts, and every family connection probed.

The breakthrough? The boy was hunkered down in Nirankari Colony, juggling gigs as a daytime car washer and nighttime watchman. His vulnerability led him astray during playtime, landing him lost at Anand Vihar’s bustling bus depot. Officers swooped in, securing his return without a hitch.

Shifting to Wazirabad, the 15-year-old’s vanishing act on January 22, 2026, prompted a fresh FIR. The same crack team—Inspector Mukesh Kumar, ASI Mahesh, Head Constable Naresh Kumar—ramped up under ACP guidance. Neighborhood whispers, surveillance tech, and kin interrogations paved the way. ASI Mahesh’s sharp intel guided them to Azadpur Vegetable Market on February 4, where they liberated the teen safe and sound.

Turns out, a family quarrel sent him packing to his maternal aunt’s. With both lads reunited via local stations, the operation highlights Delhi Police’s prowess in trafficking battles. Families’ heartfelt thanks echo the impact of such vigilant policing, bolstering community trust amid rising child disappearance concerns.
