In a lively Bihar Legislative Assembly showdown, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar sharply rebuked Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, saying, ‘Sit down and hear me out.’ The Thursday spat occurred as Kumar defended the government’s record against the Governor’s speech, with Yadav attempting to interject.

Kumar didn’t hold back: ‘We had it all sorted. Made it work, but chaos ensued. Tried pulling in extras—where’s the cash for that? They bungled it, so we walked away.’ Laughter rippled through the house, lightening the tense atmosphere.

Shifting gears, Kumar contrasted NDA’s rule with pre-2005 ‘jungle raj’ under RJD. Streets emptied at nightfall; infrastructure crumbled. Now, Bihar breathes peace and progress: rural roads paved, water and sanitation in every home, free power up to 125 units.

Sapt Nishchay drives youth employment, targeting one crore jobs in five years. Medical infrastructure booms—medical colleges doubled, 27 more building, PHCs handling thousands of patients monthly. Patna’s premier hospital eyes 5,400 beds.

Empowering women with initial Rs 10,000 aid, scaling to Rs 2 lakh. Industrial zones across districts signal economic push. ‘Bihar’s ascent continues,’ Kumar vowed. ‘Next half-decade brings massive growth; we’ll rank among top states, backed by Delhi.’ The banter highlighted enduring political rivalries.
