If you’re considering buying a new car this festive season, vehicles equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) could be an excellent option for you. These cars not only make driving easier but also ensure your safety. Several companies in India, such as Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata, and Honda, are now offering ADAS features in their cars. Let’s take a look at these options.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris: The recently launched Victoris is the first car in Maruti Suzuki’s lineup to feature ADAS technology. Level 2 ADAS is available only in the top-spec ZXi+ AT trims with the 1.5-liter K15C mild-hybrid engine option. This safety feature was not available in the top-of-the-line strong hybrid variant. The Victoris, equipped with Level 2 ADAS, starts at a price of Rs 17.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Creta: The Creta is currently the best-selling mid-size SUV in the Indian market. Hyundai offers Level 2 ADAS in its SX Tech and SX(O) variants. The SX Tech comes with a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine (MT/IVT) and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine (MT only). The top-spec SX(O) variant also comes with diesel AT and 1.5-liter tGDi DCT powertrain combinations. The ADAS range for the Hyundai Creta starts at Rs 15.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra XUV700: Mahindra was one of the early adopters of ADAS technology and introduced it with the launch of the XUV700 in 2021. Level 2 ADAS is available only in the top-spec AX7 and AX7 L variants of this SUV. It comes with 2.2-liter mHawk diesel and 2.0-liter mStallion petrol engine options, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. The AX7 trims start at a price of Rs 18.37 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Harrier: Tata Motors made changes to the Harrier variant lineup in August, and now ADAS is available with Adventure X+ and Fearless X+ trims. This SUV has a 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine, which generates 170 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes. The Tata Harrier with ADAS starts at a price of Rs 18.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra XUV3XO: The XUV3XO is one of the most feature-rich SUVs in the compact segment. It comes with Level 2 ADAS in the AX5 L and top-spec AX7 L variants. The AX5 L variant comes with a 1.2-liter tGDi petrol engine (MT and AT), while the AX7 L offers the option of a 1.5-liter diesel manual powertrain. The Mahindra XUV3XO, equipped with ADAS, starts at a price of Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
