The demand for electric scooters in the Indian market is rapidly increasing. In July 2025, TVS Motor emerged as the top-selling electric scooter brand, surpassing its competitors. The company’s total sales reached 22,256 units, reflecting a 13.23 percent year-on-year increase. The popular TVS iQube model significantly contributed to this achievement.

Bajaj Auto secured the second position with 19,683 units sold in July, a 10.80 percent increase compared to the previous year, driven by the growing demand for its Chetak EV. Ola Electric experienced a significant decline, with sales dropping by 57.29 percent to 17,852 units. Ather Energy showcased a strong comeback, achieving fourth place with a 59.04 percent sales increase to 16,251 units, with models like the Ather 450X and 450S attracting customers. Hero MotoCorp made a mark in the EV segment, with sales surging by 107.20% to 10,501 units, supported by the Vida series scooters.

The TVS iQube lineup starts with a base variant equipped with a 2.2kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 75 km. This variant can charge from 0 to 80 percent in 2 hours. All iQube models come standard with a 950W charger. The base iQube has a top speed of 75 km/h, weighs 115 kg, and provides a 30-liter under-seat storage area. This base variant is priced at ₹94,999.

A larger variant with a 3.4kWh battery is also available, featuring a 5-inch TFT display with features like tow and theft alert, and turn-by-turn navigation. The TVS iQube ST 3.4kWh variant offers a range of 100 km and includes a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display with Alexa voice assist, digital document storage, basic Bluetooth functionality, and a tire pressure monitoring system, priced at ₹1,55,555. The top-of-the-line ST 5.1kWh variant boasts the largest battery capacity among Indian electric scooters, with a claimed range of 150 km. The iQube ST 5.1 has a top speed of 82 km/h and can charge from 0 to 80 percent in 4 hours and 18 minutes. It includes all the features of the ST 3.4kWh and is the most expensive model in the lineup, priced at ₹1,85,373.
