The upcoming three months promise to be exciting for the Indian automobile sector, with several new models ready to hit showrooms. In the sub-4 meter SUV segment, Hyundai, Renault, and Tata have plans to launch the new-generation Venue, updated Kiger, and Punch facelift, respectively.

The new Renault Kiger facelift is scheduled to launch on August 24th, while the third-generation Hyundai Venue will be available for sale starting October 24th. The launch date for the new Tata Punch facelift is yet to be announced, though it is expected to be launched just before the Diwali season.

    Renault Kiger Facelift
Official teasers have revealed a slightly updated rear profile of the new Kiger. This compact SUV is expected to have some minor changes inside and out, while retaining the existing 1.0-liter naturally aspirated and turbo petrol engines. Like the current model, it will also offer a CNG option as a retrofit. The interior of the 2025 Renault Kiger may feature a new freestanding touchscreen, new seat upholstery, and trims. Most of the cosmetic changes will be at the front.

    New-Gen Hyundai Venue
The new-generation Hyundai Venue, codenamed QU2i, will see significant updates in styling and interior. Features like ventilated front seats, a larger display screen, a panoramic sunroof, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) could be part of the updated feature kit. The 2025 Hyundai Venue will borrow some design elements from the Creta and Alcazar. The new-generation model will come with the existing 1.0-liter turbo, 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol, and 1.5-liter diesel engine options.

    Tata Punch Facelift
Both Tata Punch and Punch EV are set for a mid-life update in October 2025. Spy photos suggest that the updated Punch will have a new design front grille, slim headlamps, and a new LED DRL signature. It may also get new design alloy wheels. This compact SUV is expected to feature a new two-spoke steering wheel taken from the recently launched Altroz facelift, a larger touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a touch-based HVAC control panel. The 2025 Tata Punch will retain the existing engine setup.
