Mahindra Vision S SUV Concept Unveiled: Design, Features, and Specs

Mahindra has revealed its Vision S concept SUV, sparking anticipation for its potential integration into the Mahindra Scorpio family alongside the Scorpio N and Classic Scorpio models. The Vision S, along with concepts X, T, and SXT, showcases Mahindra’s evolving design language. The Vision S boasts a distinctive exterior, with LED headlights, a grille featuring LED elements and the brand’s twin peaks logo. Additional features include roof-mounted lights and pixel-shaped fog lamps. The SUV’s off-road readiness is emphasized by thick cladding, 19-inch wheels with unique rims, and side-mounted cameras instead of traditional mirrors. The rear design incorporates inverted tail lamps, a reflector unit mirroring the Bolero Neo, and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel bearing the Vision S branding. The interior showcases a refreshed layout with a new steering wheel design, a fully digital driver’s display, and a new NU UX infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity. The cabin features dual-tone upholstery, redesigned door trims, premium seating, and a panoramic sunroof. The Vision S is built on Mahindra’s NU-IQ platform, capable of accommodating SUVs between 3,990 mm and 4,320 mm, and supports petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains. An ICE version, potentially powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine, seems likely, along with handling-enhancing features like variable-ratio steering.
