The Maruti Suzuki Victoris marks a significant leap forward for the brand, introducing seven features never before seen in a Maruti vehicle. These innovations aim to enhance the driving experience and compete with rivals in the SUV market. One of the most notable additions is the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, featuring a new user interface and advanced technology, including Alexa AI voice control, an app store with OTT apps, and internet connectivity. This system is available in the fully loaded ZXI variant and supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Victoris also features an underbody CNG tank, a first for Maruti, optimizing boot space for owners. Further enhancing convenience, the SUV includes a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, available in the top-spec ZXI and ZXI+ variants. Safety is boosted with Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), encompassing features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, High-Beam Assist, Forward Collision Warning, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, offered exclusively in the ZXI+ variant with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. A 10.25-inch full digital driver display, larger than previous Maruti models, provides comprehensive information on range, fuel economy, speed, and gear position. This display is available in the ZXI, ZXI+ and VXI strong-hybrid variants. The Victoris also introduces 64-color ambient lighting, usually found in premium cars, which is exclusive to the ZXI+ variant. Finally, the Victoris includes an 8-speaker Infinity sound system with a center speaker, subwoofer, Dolby Atmos surround experience, and an 8-channel amplifier, offered only in the fully loaded ZXI+ variant. The Maruti Victoris is expected to launch around Diwali 2025 with prices starting from ₹9.75 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with compact SUVs like the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Hyryder, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate.
