New Era of Independence: Concept Models and AI Scooters to be Unveiled, Major Plans from Mahindra and Ola

Mahindra and Ola are set to reveal new electric scooters, SUVs, and cutting-edge technology on Independence Day 2025, showcasing futuristic designs, AI features, and EV platforms. Ola Electric will launch a new sports scooter at its annual event, Sankalp 2025, held at its Gigafactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu on August 15, 2025. The sporty model’s design is hinted at with a teaser revealing a grab rail and a single-piece flat seat. Ola Electric has also announced its MoveOS 6 software update for electric two-wheelers. This update, set to release before Sankalp 2025, may include an AI chatbot, a voice assistant, and predictive service features. Ola Electric has also teased its Diamond Head motorcycle under the Moonshot project, which will be presented at the Sankalp 2025 event on August 15, 2025. The company plans to share a roadmap for its products and technologies, emphasizing its “India Inside” vision for electric vehicles. Mahindra will unveil the Vision T concept SUV at its Freedom_NU event in Mumbai on August 15, 2025. The teaser suggests it will be a production version of the Thar electric SUV with a square bonnet, powerful wheel arches, and all-terrain tires, based on the INGLO platform with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. Mahindra’s Vision S and Vision SX models will also be showcased. Vision S, potentially an electric pickup truck based on the Scorpio N, and Vision SXT, could also be a pickup truck based on the Scorpio N. The teaser reveals robust off-road design elements such as a boxy design with flared wheel arches and a clamshell hood.
