Tata has entered the electric vehicle market with the Tata Harrier EV, building upon the momentum in the EV sector. The Harrier EV RWD’s price has been revealed, with the range starting from Rs 21.49 lakh and going up to Rs 27.49 lakh. Bookings will open on July 2, 2025. The price list details the various RWD variants: Adventure 65 at Rs 21.49 lakh, Adventure S 65 at Rs 21.99 lakh, Fearless+ 65 at Rs 23.99 lakh, Fearless +75 at Rs 24.99 lakh, and Empowered 75 at Rs 27.49 lakh. The cost of an AC fast charger and its installation is additional, and the price of the top-spec empowered AWD variant is yet to be announced.

The Harrier EV’s exterior design mirrors the ICE variant, updated to align with other EVs in the lineup. Key features include a closed-off grill, revised bumper, line-based design, 19-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels, and EV badging. The Harrier EV is slightly longer and taller than the standard Harrier. A comparison with other EV models, including the BE-6, XEV-9, Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv, and MG Windsor, highlights range, acceleration, battery capacity, features, drivetrain, power, torque, charging time, and price differences.

The new Harrier EV utilizes an enhanced version of Tata’s ACTi EV platform, introduced with the Punch EV. The entry-level model features a 65 kWh LFP battery pack powering a single motor at the rear, delivering 238 hp. Higher trims offer a 75 kWh LFP battery with dual motors, developing 504 Nm of torque. The 75 kWh RWD and AWD variants offer a range of up to 627 km. The RWD version achieves a real-world range of 480-505 km. Charging to 100% using a 7.2 kWh AC charger takes 10.7 hours, while a 120 kW DC charger can charge from 20-80% in 25 minutes. The Harrier EV also includes an Ultra Glide Multi-Link Suspension, frequency-dependent dampers, off-road assist, a transparent mode, a regen braking system, and a summon mode for tight parking situations.
