    Sharman Joshi’s father, Arvind Joshi, appeared in the 1975 film Sholay in a cameo role. In this blockbuster film, he played the elder son of Thakur, played by Sanjeev Kumar. He appears in a flashback when Thakur’s backstory is being shown.

    In the film, Arvind Joshi’s character meets his end by Gabbar’s gunshot. This scene is considered a turning point in Sholay. After this scene, there was a significant change in the story. Arvind’s character did not have a long role in the film.

    Arvind Joshi was a part of Gujarati and Bollywood films. His contributions to the theater world are always remembered. His son, Sharman Joshi, is a well-known name in Bollywood and has appeared in several movies, including 3 Idiots. Arvind passed away in 2021. Now, his son is carrying forward his acting legacy.
