Aryan Khan has entered Bollywood with his Netflix series, ‘The Bads of Bollywood.’ The series, created and directed by Shah Rukh Khan’s son, has generated buzz, particularly concerning potential references to his past controversy. Aryan was previously embroiled in a drug case, which resulted in his arrest, but he was later cleared of all charges. The series is rumored to include a humorous nod to the situation, sparking reactions from viewers.

‘The Bads of Bollywood’ allegedly includes a reference to Sameer Wankhede, the former Narcotics Control Bureau officer involved in Aryan’s arrest. The series has garnered attention for this, with many viewers sharing their reactions to the reference online.

The cast of the series features Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, and Vijayant Kohli, along with guest appearances by Rajat Bedi, Gautami Kapoor, and in cameo roles, Rajkummar Rao, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, Aamir Khan, SS Rajamouli, Karan Johar, Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh, and possibly other Bollywood stars.

The plot of ‘The Bads of Bollywood’ centers around Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), a new Bollywood superstar. Bobby Deol will portray a prominent figure in Hindi cinema, and Aasmaan’s character will be involved romantically with his daughter. The story explores Aasmaan’s journey in the film industry, particularly as he navigates challenges and opposition.

In a statement regarding his debut, Aryan Khan expressed his vision for the series, stating, “With The Ba***ds of Bollywood, I wanted to build a world that feels alive, a mix of glitz and grit, where ambition shines, egos clash, and nothing is ever as it seems. In Netflix, we found a partner who shared our creative vision—helping us tell the story exactly how it needed to be told, raw, stylised, and something the world has never experienced before.”

‘The Bads of Bollywood’ is produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, with Bonnie Jain and Akshat Verma as executive producers. Aryan Khan co-created and directed the series alongside Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, who also collaborated on the script.
