    Malvika Raaj, who captured hearts as a child artist in the 2001 blockbuster ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,’ hails from a family deeply rooted in the world of acting. The film, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor, was a massive success, and Malvika’s performance as young Kareena was well-received. Her family boasts a history of successful actors and actresses.

    Born in Mumbai on September 18, 1990, Malvika is the daughter of film producer Bobby Raaj and the granddaughter of veteran Bollywood actor Jagdish Raj. Jagdish Raj was a familiar face in the 70s and 80s, often portraying a police inspector. Malvika’s aunt, Anita Raaj, also enjoyed a successful career as a lead actress in numerous hit films during the 80s and 90s and remains active in television serials.

    Malvika’s acting journey began with ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,’ where she showcased her talent as a child artist. She has since undergone a remarkable transformation, with a glamorous presence on social media. Apart from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,’ Malvika has appeared in films like ‘Captain Nawab,’ ‘Sikandar,’ and ‘Swipe Crime.’ In 2023, she married Pranav Bagga in Goa and welcomed a daughter in 2025, enjoying a happy married life.

    Jagdish Raj debuted in Bollywood with the film ‘Seema’ (1955). His first role as a police officer was in the film ‘CID’ (1956), which he then repeated in many movies. He worked in hit movies like ‘Kaala Patthar,’ ‘Ek Hi Bhool,’ ‘Roti,’ ‘Bobby,’ ‘The Great Gambler,’ ‘Mehboob Ki Mehndi,’ ‘Ilzaam,’ ‘Naseeb,’ and ‘Pyar Ka Bandhan.’

    Anita Raaj, at 62, entered Bollywood with the film ‘Prem Geet’ in 1981. She has also starred in films like ‘Sherdil,’ ‘Clerk,’ ‘Hum Se Na Takrana,’ ‘Billoo Badshah,’ ‘Zara Si Zindagi,’ ‘Zameen Aasmaan,’ ‘Naukar Biwi Ka,’ and ‘Mazloom.’ Anita has appeared in serials like ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani,’ ‘Tumhari Paakhi,’ ‘Aashiqui,’ and currently works in the serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.’
