While refraining from naming any specific individuals or groups, Dosanjh delivered a powerful message of love and positivity to his fans. He declared his unwavering commitment to spreading love, regardless of any ‘jealousy’ or ‘trolling’ he might face. His remarks came after threats emerged concerning his appearance on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, where he touched Amitabh Bachchan’s feet.
Dosanjh, known for his indirect approach to controversies, took to the stage and addressed the crowd in Punjabi. He stated, “I will always keep talking about love. For me, this Earth is one. My Guru says, ‘Ik Onkar.’ I was born from this earth, I got my life from this land and one day I will return to this soil. So, there is only love from my side for everyone, even if someone gets jealous of me or trolls me. I will always spread the message of love. I have always done so. I don’t care how anyone feels about it. Punjabi aa gaye oye.” This sentiment was shared across his social media platforms, highlighting his dedication to unity and peace.
The tour includes upcoming performances in Adelaide and Perth, following his successful Sydney stadium show earlier this year. The threats, reportedly from a Khalistani terror group, aim to disrupt his Melbourne concert on November 1st, which coincides with Sikh Genocide Remembrance Month. The group cited Dosanjh’s gesture of touching Amitabh Bachchan’s feet on ‘KBC’ as an insult to the victims of the 1984 Sikh Genocide, referencing Bachchan’s alleged past remarks. Dosanjh himself has not made any direct public comments on these specific threats.
