Hrithik Roshan is currently in the spotlight for his upcoming film ‘War 2,’ where he stars alongside Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani. The film is slated to hit theaters on August 14th. Looking back at Roshan’s career, he made his debut 25 years ago with ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai.’ Before that, he worked behind the camera. While he has delivered many successful films, he also has a number of underperforming ones. Having started as a child artist and later working as an assistant director, Roshan is primarily recognized for his action roles and his dancing talent. Although he had a strong start, some of his films, despite significant effort, failed to perform well at the box office.

‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’: Released in 2002, ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’ featured Saif Ali Khan and Isha Deol. Directed by Arjun Sablok, this love story did not resonate with audiences. It failed to cross the 10 crore mark in earnings. According to Sacnilk, the film earned 8.14 crore across India.

‘Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon’: Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, this 2003 film starred Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan. It is a remake of the 1976 film ‘Chitchor.’ The film did not do well financially. Sacnilk reported a box office collection of 17.60 crore.

‘Kites’: Released in 2010, ‘Kites’ was directed by Anurag Basu and was released in 60 countries. The film starred Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Kangana Ranaut, and Kabir Bedi. The songs were more popular than the film itself. The film’s box office performance was also disappointing. Sacnilk reported a box office collection of 49.09 crore.

‘Guzaarish’: Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starred in ‘Guzaarish.’ The film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, tells the story of a paralyzed man who becomes a radio jockey. Released in 2010, it received negative reviews. Sacnilk reported a box office collection of 29 crore.

‘Mohenjo Daro’: Released in 2016, ‘Mohenjo Daro’ was a period action-adventure film starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film received mixed reactions. Sacnilk reported that the film earned 58.23 crore.
