Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with the film ‘Dhadak.’ It was a Hindi remake of the Marathi film ‘Sairat.’ The film received mixed reviews and managed to achieve a semi-hit status. Since then, Janhvi Kapoor hasn’t replicated the success of ‘Dhadak.’ Although her acting has been praised in some films, none of her theatrical releases have achieved the hit status.

Following this, ‘Roohi’ earned ₹23.25 crore, ‘Mili’ ₹2.24 crore, ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ ₹36.28 crore, ‘Ulajh’ ₹8.30 crore, and ‘Devra Part 1’ ₹292.03 crore in the domestic market. ‘Devra Part 1’ could only make ₹62 crore in Hindi. Although it was a big-budget film, it didn’t perform exceptionally well.
‘Param Sundari’ Expectations
Not only Janhvi Kapoor, but also the film’s hero, Sidharth Malhotra, will have high hopes for this film. Sidharth hasn’t had a hit since 2015. ‘Param Sundari’ is directed by Tushar Jalota and produced under the banner of Maddock Films. The film also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Renji Panicker, Siddharth Shankar, Manjot Singh, and Inayak Verma.
