This beloved show, a successor to the original 2000s mega-hit, is currently making waves on the TRP charts, even challenging established favorites. Lalwani’s return is a significant development as the reboot gears up for a time leap, promising to propel the storyline forward with his character’s involvement.
Lalwani, who first gained widespread recognition as Mihir Virani’s brother, Kiran, in the original ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, expressed his excitement. “I am back on the show playing my favorite character, Kiran Virani, and I am quite excited about it,” he shared. While he remained tight-lipped about specific plot details, he hinted that Kiran is rejoining the Virani family for Angad’s wedding. “They asked if I would be interested, and I immediately said yes. Although I am already doing another show, I decided to make some adjustments to be part of the second season of this iconic show.” He also mentioned the joy of reuniting with familiar faces like Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay, and getting acquainted with newer cast members like Rohit Suchanti.
