Pawan Kalyan’s film, ‘They Call Him OG,’ has made a significant impact with its recent box office performance. The film’s initial release generated substantial excitement, though a subsequent dip in collections was observed. Domestically, the movie is performing well, but it is yet to gain significant traction in the Hindi-speaking regions. Internationally, the film’s collections have been steady. ‘OG’ has emerged as a potential challenge to Rajinikanth’s ‘Kuli,’ which currently holds the title of the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2025. If ‘OG’ maintains its current pace for another 8-10 days, it could surpass ‘Kuli’s’ all-time collections. The film’s impressive performance has quickly crossed the ₹200 crore mark within four days of its release.

‘OG’ had a pre-release collection of ₹21 crore from advance bookings and paid previews. On its opening day, the film earned a remarkable ₹63.75 crore in India. Following its opening, the film’s daily earnings have stabilized, with approximately ₹18.45 crore on Friday and ₹18.50 crore each on Saturday and Sunday, accumulating ₹140.20 crore in India within four days. The film’s gross collection in India has reached ₹164.35 crore.

Internationally, ‘OG’ has also shown strong performance, with an overseas collection of ₹55 crore, excluding the fourth-day figures. This brings the worldwide collection to ₹200 crore, not including the Sunday overseas earnings. Whether ‘OG’ can break Rajinikanth’s record will depend on its performance during the weekdays. ‘Kuli’ earned a net collection of ₹284.84 crore in India, with a gross collection of ₹337.30 crore. Its overseas earnings were ₹179.7 crore, resulting in a worldwide collection of ₹517 crore. The film’s success in the coming days will be crucial in determining if it can surpass Rajinikanth’s record, with ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ posing a significant challenge.
