Their romance blossomed on the set of this film, and everyone present was aware of their growing closeness. However, few know that there was a film in which Salman was offered the role of Aishwarya’s brother.

    Salman Khan is known to become possessive of those he considers his own. He was quite possessive of Aishwarya. Their relationship ended badly, and they haven’t spoken to each other since. But when a director offered Salman a film opposite Aishwarya, he rejected it without hesitation.

    This film was ‘Josh.’ In this movie, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai played siblings. However, Shah Rukh wasn’t the first choice. The makers initially offered the film to Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. It was believed that the makers wanted to make this film with Salman, Aamir, and Aishwarya, but it didn’t happen.

    The makers of the film ‘Josh’ offered Salman the role of Aishwarya’s brother, and Aamir was offered the role played by Chandrachur Singh. As soon as Salman learned that he was supposed to play Aishwarya’s brother, he rejected the film immediately. After ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,’ Salman and Aishwarya had become an ideal couple. Fans eager to see them in romantic roles wouldn’t have easily accepted them as siblings.

    Furthermore, Salman himself didn’t want to play Aishwarya’s brother, especially since their love was the talk of the industry. After Salman and Aamir declined, the film was made with Shah Rukh, Aishwarya, and Chandrachur. The film was a hit. Made on a budget of 16 crores, it earned over 35 crores.
