Smriti Mandhana Misses KBC 17 Shoot Amid Wedding Postponement

Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana was notably absent from the scheduled recording of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17. The star athlete was set to appear alongside her India Women’s Cricket teammates for a special episode hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. However, personal reasons led to her inability to attend the shoot. This absence comes at a time when her anticipated wedding to filmmaker Palaash Muchhal has also been postponed. The wedding, originally planned for November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra, was put on hold following a health emergency involving Mandhana’s father. He was hospitalized, prompting Smriti to prioritize his recovery. While her father has since been discharged and his condition is stable, a new wedding date has not yet been announced. Pre-wedding festivities had reportedly been underway, with glimpses shared online, though Mandhana has reportedly removed some of these from her social media. The KBC episode will proceed featuring other prominent members of the victorious Women’s Cricket World Cup team, including Harmanpreet Kaur and Shafali Verma, along with head coach Amol Muzumdar.
