Sunny Deol is currently occupied with his upcoming projects. He recently completed work on ‘Border 2’ and is also slated to work on Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Ramayan.’ Before these, he has several other significant films in the pipeline. In the midst of this, a major update has emerged regarding his highly anticipated film, ‘Baap.’ Although the filming for ‘Baap’ was completed some time ago, and the actor playing the villain mentioned a potential release this year, a new piece of information has surfaced. This update does not involve Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, or Jackie Shroff, nor does it concern Mithun Chakraborty. Instead, it focuses on the entry of a less successful actress into the film.

Recent reports from a news website indicate that actress Urvashi Rautela has joined the cast of Sunny Deol’s ‘Baap.’ She is set to perform in a song. However, this could pose a challenge for Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt’s film. The reasons behind this are discussed below.

Who is in Sunny Deol’s ‘Baap’?

The film has been in the works for quite some time. While there haven’t been any official updates from Sunny Deol or the makers, information has been circulating on social media. The latest report reveals that Ahmed Khan has chosen Urvashi Rautela for a special number. This will be a remake of the popular song ‘Apsara Aali.’ It’s reported that Urvashi Rautela has already filmed her part. The song’s shoot was completed in just three days.

She will be sharing the screen with Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and Mithun Chakraborty. ‘Baap’ is reportedly a Bollywood remake of the Hollywood film ‘The Expendables.’ The song being remade in the film is ‘Apsara Aali’ from the Marathi film ‘Natarang.’ Urvashi Rautela was recently seen in Sunny Deol’s film ‘Jatt,’ where she had a special song called ‘Sorry Bol.’

Why is this a potential challenge for Sunny Deol?

Sunny Deol and Urvashi Rautela have previously worked together. Urvashi played his wife in the film ‘Singh Saab The Great,’ which was a commercial failure. Her recent appearance in ‘Jatt’ didn’t perform well either. It remains to be seen how this new update for ‘Baap’ will unfold.
