While the highest earnings were expected on Saturday and Sunday, the situation worsened. The third-day collection was 33.25 crore, and Sunday’s business was 31 crore. The Hindi version has contributed the most to the collection in the first three days: 29 crore on the first day, 44.5 crore on the second day, and 26 crore on the third day. Telugu also performed well.
In 2019, ‘War’ earned 37.40 crore on its first Sunday, significantly more than the current film’s Sunday earnings. Notably, there was no contribution from the South Indian industry in the previous film. This time, a substantial bet was placed on Jr. NTR, but it seems to be failing. It remains to be seen whether ‘War 2’ can surpass ‘War’ on its first Monday.
The YRF spy universe invested heavily in this film, but things have gone downhill quickly. Recovering the 400 crore budget seems challenging, given the current response.
