The upcoming three-tier panchayat elections in Uttar Pradesh are set to witness several changes following the delimitation process. Due to the expansion of urban boundaries and the formation of new urban bodies, approximately 40 posts of Zilla Panchayat members, 1,500 wards of Kshetra Panchayats (BDC), and 4,608 wards of Gram Panchayats are going to be reduced. This information was provided by Amit Singh, Director of Panchayati Raj.
