The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has leveled serious accusations against the Haryana government’s land pooling policy, alleging that the BJP government is not only seizing farmers’ land but also attempting to strip them of their identity and livelihoods. AAP claims that the e-Bhumi portal, presented as a platform for development, has become a means for brokers and the builder lobby to exploit farmers. AAP holds the Haryana administrative system responsible for the situation, stating that the BJP government’s actions, such as attempting to purchase land at prices below the circle rate, demonstrate a lack of concern for farmers, their fields, and Haryana’s agricultural culture.
