Opposition parties staged a protest march to the Election Commission office concerning alleged vote theft by the Congress. The march, led by Rahul Gandhi, saw participation from various political leaders. During the march, Samajwadi Party President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav was stopped by the police. He engaged in a heated exchange with the officers before jumping over a barricade to proceed with the demonstration. Following the incident, Yadav sat on the ground in protest, accusing the government of employing the police to obstruct the march. He criticized the Election Commission and asserted that the government was unwilling to address concerns. The march included several prominent leaders, including Mahua Moitra, Jyotimani, and Sanjana Jatav, who voiced their opposition to the government.
