    Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened a meeting in Delhi with officers who were instrumental in the recent anti-Naxal operations conducted in Chhattisgarh. He extended his congratulations on the historic success of these operations, emphasizing the government’s commitment to eradicating Naxalism from India. Shah expressed his anticipation to meet the brave jawans whose courage led to the success of these operations and announced a forthcoming visit to Chhattisgarh. The anti-Naxal operations, carried out under the guidance of the Union Home Minister, involved the Chhattisgarh Police, including DRG units from various districts, who conducted operations in the interior areas of Abujhmad from May 18 to May 21. An encounter on May 21 resulted in the elimination of 27 Naxals, including CPI (Maoist) General Secretary Basavaraju alias Gaganna, along with the recovery of significant arms and ammunition. The officers involved in the operation, including top police officials, were honored by Amit Shah. The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and various Union Home and Intelligence officials.
