The Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted bail to Pomil Jain, Vipin Jain, and Apurva Chavda, who were implicated in the case concerning the alleged supply of adulterated cow ghee to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The court cited significant procedural lapses in the investigation as the basis for its decision, stating that their continued detention was not justified. The accused individuals have pledged their full cooperation with the ongoing investigation and have assured the court of their adherence to any stringent bail conditions. The legal representatives for the accused highlighted discrepancies in the investigation, including the initial summoning of the accused as witnesses followed by their extended incarceration without a clear legal foundation. Furthermore, they raised concerns about the delayed filing of FIRs related to alleged witness intimidation, emphasizing the procedural irregularities within the investigation.
