The Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway is now operational, representing a key component of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway project. Its opening is poised to bolster regional connectivity and stimulate tourism. The distance between Delhi-NCR and Jaipur can now be covered in a mere two and a half to three hours. This 66.91 km route offers passengers a fast, comfortable, and safe travel experience. The expressway was opened to the public on July 15 after all safety standards were met.

This section of the expressway stretches from Sohna, Haryana, to Mozmabad, Rajasthan, passing through Bandikui. A senior NHAI official confirmed the completion of the project with all safety regulations and signage in place.

The 66.91-km route was constructed at a cost of Rs 1,368 crore. The NHAI reports that over 15,000 vehicles utilize the new route daily, with an anticipated increase. The expressway is designed for high-speed travel, accommodating a maximum speed limit of 120 kmph.

The Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway marks a significant achievement in India’s road infrastructure development, linking Sohna in Haryana with Mozmabad in Rajasthan. It facilitates economic growth, accelerates travel times, and enhances regional integration. The expressway is expected to promote tourism in Rajasthan, while also streamlining freight and passenger movement between Delhi-NCR and Jaipur. Travellers can enjoy a pleasant and scenic journey, dramatically cutting travel time to just a few hours. This route, part of the larger Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, is set to transform connectivity in northern and western India.
