Authorities in Bengaluru have apprehended three individuals, including two teachers, in connection with the alleged gang-rape of a college student. The victim was reportedly assaulted on multiple occasions, and threats were made to coerce her into silence.

The accused, identified as Narendra, a physics teacher, Sandeep, a biology teacher, and their friend Anoop, are implicated in the incident. The victim stated that Narendra initially befriended her, offering assistance with her studies. However, this relationship took a sinister turn when she was allegedly assaulted at Anoop’s residence.

Following the initial assault, Sandeep reportedly threatened to publicize photographs of the victim with Narendra if she did not comply with his demands. He then allegedly participated in a further act of sexual assault at Anoop’s residence. The woman’s parents later sought help from the State Commission for Women, prompting the registration of a case at the Marathahalli police station, leading to the arrests.
