A jewellery store in Bengaluru’s Bahiraveshwara complex on Magadi Road was targeted by armed robbers just before closing time. Three masked individuals entered Ram Jewellers and carried out the heist, which was captured by CCTV cameras. The owner attempted to resist and raise an alarm, but was pushed aside. Shopkeepers nearby responded to the commotion, but the robbers managed to escape with an estimated 184 grams of gold. Police have filed a case at the Madanayakanahalli police station and are reviewing CCTV footage as part of the investigation. Authorities suspect the firearm used in the robbery may have been fake, and are currently questioning several individuals in connection with the incident.
