A 25-year-old tech professional has been apprehended in Bengaluru following the death of a 33-year-old woman. The incident occurred on June 6th within a room at an OYO hotel. The victim, identified as Harini, and the accused, Yashas, were residents of Kenegeri. Preliminary investigations suggest the two were involved in a relationship. According to police reports, the woman had attempted to end the relationship, which allegedly led to the fatal attack. Yashas is accused of stabbing Harini 17 times. The Subramanyapura Police Station has registered a case and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. This event is a stark reminder of a similar incident in April where a man was arrested in Electronic City, Bengaluru, for allegedly murdering his wife.
