In the heart of Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district, the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula mosque complex remains a flashpoint of faith and history. Former Bhopal MP Sadhavi Pragyasingh Thakur has thrown her weight behind Hindu claims, calling it unequivocally Maa Saraswati’s permanent abode where worship must proceed unhindered.

Addressing the Supreme Court’s recent interim arrangement, Sadhavi expressed reverence for the judiciary while underscoring its temporary nature. ‘This is just a stopgap allowing namaz on one side and puja on the other. But the truth of this ancient temple, vandalized in subjugation eras, cannot be buried forever,’ she told reporters.

Drawing from India’s turbulent past, she painted a vivid picture of systematic temple demolitions and conversions. ‘Mughal invaders built mosques over our sacred spaces to humiliate Hindus. We’ve suffered long enough. Today’s Hindu society is vigilant, focused on revival rather than retribution.’

Taking a sharp dig at Congress, she charged the party with chronic neglect of Hindu causes. ‘For decades, they struck at Sanatan Dharma’s roots, blind to our pain. Bhojshala’s plight exemplifies their indifference.’

Sadhavi urged a final resolution granting Hindus full control. ‘India’s independence means freedom for all to follow their rituals, but we draw the line at intrusions into our faith. Hindus have granted space to others but will fiercely guard our own.’

As petitions pile up in courts and archaeological surveys progress, her words echo the sentiments of millions, potentially shaping the trajectory of similar disputes like Gyanvapi and Mathura. The call for ‘permanent solutions’ underscores a resolute push for historical restitution.
