Bihar is gearing up for its Assembly Elections 2025, with the Election Commission of India officially announcing the commencement of the electoral process. Polling for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly is scheduled across two phases on November 6 and November 11, followed by vote counting on November 14. The NDA has finalized its seat distribution, with the Janata Dal (United) and the Bharatiya Janata Party each contesting 101 seats. Smaller allies, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) – RV, will fight on six and 29 seats respectively.
