Following his release from Beur Jail, Bihar strongman Anant Singh has made a significant announcement, declaring his intention to contest elections against the party led by Nitish Kumar. Singh, who received bail from the Patna High Court in the Pachmahla case, addressed the media after his release. He stated that Nitish Kumar has accomplished a lot in the past 20 years and will continue to do so for the next 25 years. Singh acknowledged Kumar’s work for the public, highlighting infrastructure developments such as roads, electricity, and water supply. He anticipates that Nitish Kumar will remain as Chief Minister for the next 25 years. The former MLA, also known as ‘Chhote Sarkar,’ secured a major relief before the Bihar Assembly elections with the High Court’s bail order in the Pachmahla firing case.
