    In a move to bolster law enforcement, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the deployment of 618 new vehicles for the state police. The fleet includes 520 four-wheelers and 98 two-wheelers, designed to improve the operational effectiveness and mobility of the police force. During the ceremony, attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Kumar emphasized the government’s commitment to public safety, highlighting the provision of modern resources to the police. He stated that the new vehicles would enhance police patrolling, response times, and coverage, especially in remote areas. The Chief Minister also instructed authorities to ensure the optimal utilization of the new equipment, urging the police to uphold public trust through responsible and effective actions. The upgradation is aimed at expediting emergency responses and improving crime control. The event commenced with Director General of Police Vinay Kumar presenting a green plant to the Chief Minister, symbolizing environmental awareness and good governance. Key dignitaries present included ministers and senior officials such as Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. S. Siddharth.
