Political activity in Bihar is intensifying in anticipation of the upcoming assembly elections. All political parties are focused on strengthening their organizations across the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will embark on a two-day visit to Bihar, commencing on Thursday. During his visit, he will hold organizational meetings with party leaders and workers from various districts, focusing on election preparations. Shah is scheduled to meet with BJP party workers from 20 districts of the state, including meetings in Dehri-on-Sone and Begusarai. In Dehri-on-Sone (Rohtas district), he will convene with BJP workers and leaders from 10 districts in the Magadh and Shahabad regions at the late Lalan Singh Stadium. Following this, the Home Minister will travel to Begusarai, where he will engage with leaders and officials from another 10 districts, including Patna Rural, Patna Metro, Barh, and Nalanda. The BJP has divided Bihar into five organizational zones, and Shah will interact with leaders from two of these zones during his visit. He is expected to address approximately 2,000 to 2,500 BJP workers, including district presidents and MLAs. Party leaders indicate that the meetings will emphasize election preparations and strategies. The BJP has initiated a campaign plan in the state, including the “Seva Pakhwada” program at the booth level. From September 18 to 25, ‘door-to-door contact campaigns’ will be conducted to inform people about welfare schemes launched by the state and central governments. Following this meeting, Shah will hold another meeting with BJP leaders on September 27. These meetings are likely to focus on seat distribution, candidate selection, and campaign strategies with alliance partners. The BJP has set a target of winning 225 seats, and joint worker conferences are being planned across all 243 assembly constituencies as part of this strategy. BJP State President Dilip Jaiswal stated that the central minister’s visit aims to organize grassroots workers and boost their morale before the elections. The central minister will discuss booth-level preparations and strengthening the party. Shah will review election strategies at the district and regional levels and assess the ground realities through interactions with MPs, MLAs, senior leaders, and district presidents, aiming to create a roadmap for the party’s victory in the Bihar assembly elections. Jaiswal mentioned that this visit will boost the morale of BJP workers and accelerate the organizational strategy for the elections. Shah’s visit follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Purnia on September 15 and is seen as a significant event before the elections.
