When villagers learned of this, they caught the couple and forced them to marry. Upon learning of the incident, the families of the boy and girl arrived at the scene, and a crowd of villagers gathered. The video’s viral spread has made the matter a topic of discussion. However, no one has informed the police about this incident.
The incident occurred in Chhatwara village of the Mahua police station area of the district. On the night of Dussehra, villagers caught two couples and got them married, allegedly also beating them. The entire event was captured on video and went viral on social media. According to reports, the two couples had secretly met on the night of Dussehra. It was during this time that the villagers caught them red-handed and married them off.
