Preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar are intensifying. All eyes are on the question of who will be the Chief Ministerial candidate for the opposition alliance in Bihar. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has repeatedly asserted his claim to the CM position. He declared on the TV9 Digital Bihar meeting platform that he is going to be the Chief Minister. Reactions have surfaced following Yadav’s announcement.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP, Manan Kumar Mishra, criticized Yadav, stating that he is declaring himself the Chief Minister, while the public doesn’t view him as a contender. Mishra suggested that as the elections approach, the cracks within the alliance are becoming visible.

“Congress Doesn’t Consider Tejashwi as CM Candidate”

The MP stated that the Congress party does not recognize Yadav as the CM candidate. The Congress has not issued a statement on the matter, yet Yadav is proclaiming himself as the CM, indicating that everything is not well within the alliance.

“No Issues within the Alliance Regarding CM Face”

Congress spokesperson Rajesh Rathore responded, stating that no single leader will decide who will be the Chief Minister of Bihar. He added that the party is contesting the assembly elections under Tejashwi Yadav’s coordination. Rathore mentioned that Yadav himself had stated that the CM face would be decided through discussions. He also mentioned that there are no issues within the alliance regarding the CM face.

“If Votes Were Not Stolen in 2020, Tejashwi Would Be CM Today”

The Congress spokesperson added that the top leadership of the India alliance will decide on the CM candidate, and a decision will be made in due course. He also mentioned that if votes were not stolen in the 2020 elections, Tejashwi Yadav would be the Chief Minister today.

Tejashwi Declared Himself as CM Candidate

Earlier, on the TV9 Digital Bihar meeting platform, Tejashwi Yadav had stated that there is no other face for the Chief Minister post in Bihar. He said that he is going to be the Chief Minister. He said that the official announcement would be made in front of everyone once the seat-sharing agreement is finalized.
