Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) President and Union Minister Chirag Paswan has recently made headlines with his statements. While he has been critical of the Bihar government regarding law and order, his recent remarks have raised questions about his stance. Paswan, who previously criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, is now praising him.

Paswan expressed confidence in Nitish Kumar’s leadership, stating, “I am completely assured that Nitish Kumar is perfectly healthy and fit to run Bihar for the next five years. The election will be fought under his leadership, and the NDA will also win.”

During an interview, when asked if Bihar needed young leadership and if he was confident that Nitish Kumar was fit to govern for the next five years, the Union Minister responded affirmatively. He emphasized his confidence in Kumar’s ability to continue for the next five years and wished for the CM to remain healthy for a long time, benefiting Bihar with his experience.

Paswan further stated that Bihar currently needs experienced leadership, and that Nitish Kumar is the one who brought the state out of ‘jungle raj’ to its current standing. He added that while generation shifts occur in every state and government, and in every political party, the current situation in Bihar requires experienced leadership, and that he believes the next five years of Bihar belong to Nitish Kumar.

Paswan also clarified his statements on law and order. He mentioned that as a part of the central government, he uses the platform to convey the public’s concerns to the government. Although he is not in the Bihar government, he supports it, and therefore, he strongly raises serious issues. He also noted that the opposition attempts to misrepresent his words to mislead the public, creating a misconception that he will contest elections independently, separate from the NDA.

The Union Minister also asserted that the NDA is a strong alliance and that all five parties are united. He claimed that the NDA will win more than 225 seats in Bihar this time. He also stated that the opposition attempts to portray that Chirag is showing disrespect to his own government, while the reality is that they are together. He added that he has complete faith in his own government and Nitish Kumar.

Paswan also acknowledged that the public gave Nitish Kumar the name ‘Sushasan Babu’ because of his work. He noted that if the law and order situation deteriorates in Bihar even today, Nitish Kumar is the only person who can control those situations with his experience. He also commented on SIR in Bihar, stating that it was needed because the opposition has been complaining about irregularities after every election. He said that when these irregularities are being rectified through the process, the same people are now opposing it.
