The IMD has issued an Orange Alert for heavy rainfall in Bageshwar, Nainital, and Dehradun in Uttarakhand. Very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is predicted in these areas on Sunday. Furthermore, heavy rainfall is also expected in Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, and Champawat. Other districts in the state may also experience heavy rainfall with thunderstorms.
