    Following a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor. This operation targeted terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. During this operation, Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh sustained injuries in drone attacks. After 22 days of treatment, Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh attained martyrdom. The army paid heartfelt tribute to his bravery and service. Sunil Kumar Singh hailed from Buxar district, Bihar. He is survived by his mother, wife, and two sons. Operation Sindoor aimed to retaliate against Pakistan and eliminate terrorists. The operation targeted nine terrorist hideouts in PoK, resulting in the deaths of over 100 terrorists. In response, Pakistan launched drone attacks, most of which were neutralized by the Indian defense system. In retaliation, India targeted 11 of Pakistan’s 13 airbases, leading to a ceasefire request from Pakistan.
