    Following the rainfall in May, the weather across the country remained pleasant. However, Delhi and several other states are now experiencing a heatwave in June. The temperature in the national capital soared to 45 degrees Celsius on Monday, resulting in intense heat throughout the day. The NCR region faced scorching heat due to clear skies and strong sunshine. Today, the capital is expected to remain hot, with a maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 29 degrees Celsius. Dust-laden winds and a heatwave are likely. The heatwave is expected to continue until June 12, with some relief anticipated from June 13, as the weather department predicts rain starting then.

    In Uttar Pradesh, people are currently suffering from the heat. According to the weather department, the weather will remain dry in both the eastern and western parts of the state today. An orange alert has been issued for a heatwave in various districts. Rain is expected to return to UP from tomorrow. On June 12, rain and thunderstorms are expected in 60% of the districts.

    Bihar is not expected to get relief from the heat today. However, the weather will change late tonight, with heavy rainfall expected from tomorrow due to the monsoon. The monsoon is expected to reach Bihar by June 15. Light rain is possible tonight in several districts. Heavy rainfall is expected across Bihar from tomorrow. The weather in Jharkhand will change today. Strong winds and rain are expected in several districts from today until June 14.

    Rajasthan is once again experiencing intense heat. Due to the heatwave, streets are deserted during the afternoon. The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Sri Ganganagar at 47.3 degrees. The weather department predicts dry weather and a heatwave for most parts of western Rajasthan for the coming week. Light rain with thunderstorms may occur in the Kota and Bharatpur divisions on June 15-16. Haryana and Punjab are also likely to experience intense heat this week.
