    Delhi witnessed heavy rainfall on Wednesday, creating pleasant weather conditions. On Thursday, the capital saw an overcast sky with dense, dark clouds. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for more intense rain in Delhi today, with a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius expected. The rainy spell is predicted to continue for the next five days in Delhi.

    The weather department anticipates rainfall in areas like Anand Vihar, South Delhi, Pitampura, Rajghat, Najafgarh, Jafarpur, Narela, Mehrauli, Laxmi Nagar, and Rohini, among others. These areas also experienced heavy rainfall on Wednesday, bringing relief from the humidity. After a period of intense sunshine on Monday and Tuesday, which caused discomfort due to heat, the rain has brought a welcome change in the weather.

    Heavy rainfall is also anticipated in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh from July 31st to August 4th. Several districts in Himachal are under a heavy rainfall alert. Additionally, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana are expected to receive rain on July 31st. Eastern Rajasthan is likely to experience very heavy rainfall on July 31st.

    Over the next seven days, the Western Himalayan region and plains are expected to have thunderstorms and rain. Heavy rainfall is expected in the Konkan and Ghat regions of Maharashtra on July 31st. Over the next 6-7 days, several areas in this region are likely to experience rain. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are likely to experience thunderstorms and rain in several areas from July 31st to August 4th.

    From July 31st to August 4th, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh are likely to experience very heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms and strong winds are also expected in these states over the next five days. Strong surface winds are anticipated in South Peninsular India over the next three days. Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana are also expected to receive rain over the next seven days.
