    A new Amrit Bharat train is set to launch soon between Chhapra and Anand Vihar, via Gorakhpur. The Northeast Railway administration has accelerated preparations for this. While a special train was already operating between Chhapra and Anand Vihar, the railway is now working on a plan to run the Amrit Bharat train on this route instead.

    According to information, the railway is preparing to run a new train twice a week on this route between Chhapra and Anand Vihar. The Amrit Bharat rake has reached Chhapra for the operation of the new train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi may flag off the new Amrit Bharat train on September 15. This train will benefit passengers traveling from Gorakhpur to Delhi, providing convenience to people in both Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. It will also improve connectivity from UP and Bihar to Delhi.

    **What will be the timetable?**

    The route and timetable of the new Chhapra-Anand Vihar Amrit Bharat are almost ready, though not officially announced. Approval from railway officials is still pending. According to the proposed route, the Amrit Bharat train will depart from Chhapra on Mondays and Thursdays at 10 PM. It will reach Gorakhpur at 3:15 AM the next day, via Siwan, Thawe, and Kaptanganj.

    Departing from Gorakhpur at 3:25 AM, it will reach Anand Vihar at 10:10 PM, via Aishbagh and Kanpur. On the return journey, this train will depart from Anand Vihar on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 12:20 AM. It will reach Gorakhpur at 4:50 PM the next day, via Kanpur and Aishbagh. It will reach Chhapra at 10:50 PM, via Kaptanganj and Thawe.

    **How many trains are operating?**

    Currently, four Amrit Bharat trains are already running for Bihar via Gorakhpur. The new Amrit Bharat train numbered 14048/14047 will run between Delhi and Sitamarhi once a week from August 9, the Gomtinagar-Darbhanga weekly Amrit Bharat numbered 5561/15562 from July 26, and the Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Weekly Express numbered 15567/15568 has been running since July 29.

    The Amrit Bharat train numbered 15557/15558 is running between Anand Vihar and Darbhanga via Ayodhya and Gorakhpur. The operation of the new Amrit Bharat train from Chhapra will ease the journey for people from Chhapra, Siwan, and Thawe, along with the neighboring areas of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
