An investigation into the Bihar voter list has revealed the inclusion of two Pakistani women in Bhagalpur, raising significant questions. The women are alleged to have arrived in India approximately 70 years ago. The discovery was made during a verification drive conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, which aimed to identify foreign nationals residing in India beyond their visa validity periods. Voter ID cards were issued in the names of Imrana Khanam, also known as Imrana Khatoon, and Firdousia Khanam, who were listed as residents of Tank Lane. These individuals were also verified during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in preparation for the 2025 assembly elections, further solidifying their presence on the rolls.
