Political strategist Prashant Kishor has launched a scathing attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s government, specifically criticizing the Rs 400 monthly pension provided to individuals over 60 years of age. Kishor stated that even a beggar would earn more than that amount. He made the remarks while addressing the public in Begusarai, where he also outlined his vision for employment and education in the state. Kishor promised to create job opportunities for the youth, ensuring they would not have to leave Bihar in search of work. Furthermore, he pledged to increase the pension amount to Rs 2,000 per month for those above 60. Regarding education, Kishor proposed a scheme to cover the fees of children from impoverished families attending private English-medium schools. Kishor is currently leading a ‘Badlav Yatra’ (Change Journey) across Bihar, where he is actively criticizing the ruling parties, including JD(U), RJD, and BJP.
