Tej Pratap Yadav, the estranged son of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, has ignited a political firestorm with a recent statement. On Wednesday, Yadav took to social media platform X to announce that one of five “traitors” was preparing to flee Bihar. He claimed this individual, along with their entire family, planned to depart from Patna Junction. Yadav questioned the motives behind such a departure, particularly given the approaching election season, and urged the public and media to draw their own conclusions.

Yadav asserted that no “traitor” could escape his notice, vowing that the remaining individuals would soon be exposed. He requested that media outlets remain vigilant, suggesting that the individuals might attempt to leave from Patna Airport, Patna Junction, or bus stations.

Earlier, Yadav had accused Akash Yadav and others of conspiring to damage his political career by circulating a photo of him. He declared that such attempts would be unsuccessful and that he would continue to strengthen his political presence. He also stated his intention to engage in public dialogue and contest elections across the state through his organization and social platform, Team Tej Pratap Yadav, challenging any opponents to confront him directly.

Prior to these events, Yadav had criticized Rahul Gandhi and his brother, Tejashwi Yadav, regarding the Congress’s ‘Voter Rights Yatra,’ advising Tejashwi to beware of “traitors.” Tej Pratap Yadav was expelled from the Rashtriya Janata Dal and disowned by his family following the emergence of a photograph of him with a woman. He subsequently announced his intention to run as an independent candidate from Mahua, alleging that certain individuals were conspiring to ruin him.
