Tejashwi Yadav Narrowly Avoids Injury as Truck Collides with Convoy in Vaishali, Bihar

Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, a prominent Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, narrowly escaped a serious car accident on a Saturday morning. While traveling back to Patna from a political rally in Madhepura, a speeding truck collided with two vehicles in his convoy near Goraul in Vaishali district. The incident occurred around 12:30 AM on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway when the convoy had stopped for a tea break. Yadav, who was a short distance away having tea, was unharmed. However, three security officials were injured in the crash and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital. Yadav visited the injured officials, expressing concern for their well-being. The truck driver was apprehended by local police and the vehicle impounded. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, with initial reports suggesting potential speeding or driver fatigue. The incident has renewed concerns about the safety of political figures during long-distance travel in Bihar, particularly at night.
