Political activity in Bihar is intensifying, even with the upcoming assembly elections still some time away. All political parties are gearing up for the polls. In this context, Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) chief Upendra Kushwaha has made a statement. He explicitly stated that his party is with the NDA and will contest the elections together.

Discussing the matter, Kushwaha mentioned RLM’s alliance with the NDA. Regarding seat sharing, he said that the media’s discussion on seat allocation would only harm their prospects. He emphasized their approach of charting their own course, keeping their strategies internal.

Furthermore, Kushwaha referred to the JDU as his former home, indicating his concerns for the party. He stated that a successor cannot be appointed overnight. Praising Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he noted his experience and the benefits it brings to Bihar. Addressing the possibility of CM’s son, Nishant, entering politics, he said that Nitish Kumar himself would make that decision.

Commenting on Tejashwi Yadav’s dance, the RLM leader criticized the RJD, calling it a party that only talks nonsense. He acknowledged that dancing is not inherently wrong, but the way the RJD leader danced was inappropriate and unbecoming. He suggested that Tejashwi should be mindful of his image. Kushwaha also highlighted the Nitish government’s efforts in providing jobs and urged the opposition to address the government’s shortcomings through actions rather than merely dancing. Tejashwi had recently danced with some youths at Patna’s Marine Drive.

Addressing allegations of vote theft by the opposition, Kushwaha dismissed it as a non-issue. He said that the opposition had gained nothing from this matter. He challenged the opposition to present evidence of targeted individuals if they believed such actions had taken place.

Regarding Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj Party, Kushwaha stated that he is not relevant in the current political landscape. He indicated that the main competition is between the NDA and the alliance.
